Free Software for Free Content for Your Website

April 26th, 2007 Linda No comments

If you want a free software that will provide free content for your website, you need to check out this blog.Only about 2% of the internet marketing community even knows about this. That’s why I wanted to let you know about it.

A free software product was released last November. Just shy of 10,000 people have installed it (including me).

If you want fast content for your websites, blogs, ezines… then you need to take 30 seconds and download this no-cost software right now.

That’s right, I said NO-COST.

This software may be free, but don’t let that scare you. This thing could easily sell for $97.

And don’t worry, when you visit the download page below, you won’t be hit with a one time offer, upsell or anything else like that.

Like I said, this won’t cost you a dime.

Affiliate Marketing Tools – What Should You Provide

April 10th, 2007 Linda No comments

I have compiled a list of affiliate marketing tools that will help your affiliates do a better job of making you money!

You want to make sure that you give your affiliates every tool they need to be successful.

· Banners

· Text Links

· Emails

· Articles

· Sales Letters

· Classified Ads

· Rebrandable eBooks

These should all be integrated into your affiliate management area and readily available to your affiliates.

Although the list may not be long, these will take some work to develop.

I will give a few examples over the next couple of weeks.

Wanting you to succeed,

Linda

Affiliate Programs – What Type Do You Need?

April 5th, 2007 Linda No comments

There are basically three types of affiliate management programs:

· Affiliate Networks – This is probably the easiest to set up. You just set up your affiliate product in their system and they handle the rest. Each service charges differently for their service. You will want to look through all the fine print before you select the service that is right for you. (Examples are Clickbank and Commission Junction.)

· Web Based Services – These services allow you to set up your affiliate program on their system. You still have to set up a merchant account. (An examples is 1Shopping Cart)

· Server Based Software – This software you load on your server which will manage your affiliates. (An example is viral sales generator.)

If you are just starting out, you may want to consider using Clickbank or PayDotCom. Both of these programs allow you to easily set up one product or several products. You don’t have to have a merchant account with either of these services. (This is extremely helpful if you are just starting out and are strapped for cash.)

With Clickbank you pay a one time fee of $50 and can list up to 99 products. Clickbank takes care of providing the affiliate links and paying the affiliates. They also pay you your share of the profits. However, it is harder to manage the affiliates. It can be done but it will take some work on your part.

If you have an established business and several products and affiliate, 1Shopping Cart or Viral Sales Generator are good choices. With these products you know who is selling for you and how much traffic they are driving to your site. You can easily provide tools for your affiliates to increase their productivity. However, there is a price to pay.

There is a great eBook, Report on Affiliate Management Software, put out by Dr. Wilson at Web Marketing Today. In this report, Ralph looks at the basic and advance features of affiliate software. He then looks in detail at 48 stand-alone programs and 55 affiliate modules integrated into shopping carts. He then offers candid feedback from about 200 users and makes recommendations. Before you invest, I would recommend looking at his review.

Wanting you to succeed,

Linda

PS If you haven’t listened to the affiliate audio interviews at www.WebTechAffiliates.com, go there now and listen to these great calls!  If there is any way you can get to the conference, you won’t be disappointed!  BUT the calls will disappear soon.

Affiliate Programs – Why You Need Your Own…

April 3rd, 2007 Linda No comments

Create Your Own Affiliate Program

Selling someone else’s product or service is great. Having your own product or service to sell is even better. Having others sell your products or services is best of all!

Creating a product may sound like an overwhelming task but it is actually quite simple. You can take your teleseminar, record it, transcribe it and now you have a digital product! You do several of these and turn it into an ebook.

My absolute favorite is video tutorials. They are easy to make. Since a friend recently introduced inexpensive software, you can make these videos for nothing.

Why You Want Your Own Affiliate Program

How many people can you reach with your own promotions? Let’s say that you could reach thousands of people. An affiliate program will let you reach tens of thousands of people. The affiliates will tap into pockets of people that you never would have reached.

Affiliates are essentially an army of salesmen selling your product. They do their own promotions. Each affiliate will have a different strategy. Some will specialize in articles, others will focus on PPC ads and other will write articles. Every effort to sell your product is effort you didn’t have to expend. Every sale they bring in puts money in your pocket.

What Affiliate Program Should You Use

There are numerous options when it comes to affiliate management software. You must use some sort of software to track affiliate sales and commissions. This is one job where you cannot do it manually!!

Your affiliate program should provide automated sign up and provide affiliate links. It also should track impressions, clicks and sales, as well as track all commissions earned.

The affiliate should be able to sign into their account and view all their statistics, select a variety of banner and text ads and change their own contact information as needed. The more automated the system, the more smoothly it will run.

Not all programs are the same. You really need to understand all the costs and charges before you commit to a program. It is also important to make sure you will get good customer service. Read user reviews before settling on a product.

Wanting you to succeed,
Linda
PS You can make products numerous ways. I make video tutorials. This easy software makes creating screen capture videos a breeze.
